If Earth were an apple...

Our Room 22 Enviro Leaders, Lily D and Benji had their first meeting with Mrs Elmore and the other class leaders last week.  They reported back the to class and shared the Meadowbank School Care Code.

We are all going to try to take part in Earth Hour on March 29th.


The next day, Miss Steptoe gave up her afternoon tea so that we could do the 'If Earth Were an Apple' activity.  It shows just how little of Earth is actually able to be lived on and how it is so important to look after that small space.

    The earth is very inportant because on the earth humans only get to live on the skin of a apple.
    A quater of the apple is desert, 75% of the world is water.
    Thats why you should keep tidy.
